Celebrate Recovery Month with First Selectman Peter Tesei

September is National Recovery Month and Silver Hill Hospital, along with CT Communities for Addiction Recovery, Communities 4 Action, Greenwich High School’s SADD Outreach Club and the Town of Greenwich invite Greenwich residents in recovery to celebrate!

America has celebrated National Recovery Month under different names since 1989, but the goal has always been to increase public awareness that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works. Treatment is effective. People can and do recover, and that is worth celebrating!

Please join the celebration which includes lunch courtesy of Silver Hill at the Greenwich Town Hall Meeting Room, September 23, 12 Noon – 1:00pm. The event includes lunch, a proclamation presented by First Selectman Peter Tesei, a brief series of talks and entertainment.
